Camplified is honored and pleased to be a co-sponsor for this year’s Ben Appelbaum Day Camp Conference brought to us by the American Camp Association and hosted by West Hills Day Camp. We are looking forward to attending the conference this Tuesday, Sept. 27, where we will be seeing old friends such as @CampLeadership‘s Dave Bell and YMCA Senior Camping Specialist, John Duntley. The conference will touch on many aspects of day camp, from marketing and leadership to camp activities and yearly time management. We’re grateful for the support of AMSKIER Insurance, many camp directors across the country, as well as the ACA.

On August 13, 2010, the Camplified vans rolled in to Camp Veritans in Haledon, NJ, for the final 2010 tour date. Thomas Fiss (who played all 31 camp dates!) was there, along with tons of Juicy Juice and more fun, games, prizes and even a little silly string. It’s been an amazing tour, and it’s safe to say that everyone will be missed, judging from the Camp Crew’s final “From The Road” blog. But next summer will be here before you know it! Meantime, keep visiting us here at Camplified.com, and on our Facebook and Twitter, where we will continue to keep you updated on all your favorite Camplified artists during the summer camp off-season! The kids at Kenwal Day Camp in Melville, NY, couldn’t wait for the musicians to take the stage — Thomas Fiss, Alex York and Josiah Rea were all on hand to rock out. Good times were had before the concert as well, with activities and prizes up for grabs including a viewing of Cartoon Network’s Unnatural History, hula-hoop contests sponsored by Cirque du Soleil’s Wintuk, guitar lessons and loads more. The girls at Camp Kippewa in Monmouth, ME, were beyond thrilled when Camplified arrived with tons of fun, music and branded activities. Thomas Fiss, Josiah Rea and Michael and Marisa were on hand to liven up the crowd with a few tunes — Josiah and Michael even lent a helping hand during the Epiphone-sponsored guitar clinic. The Juicy Juice was flowing and the Stardoll T-shirt design contest was a huge hit. View our exclusive pics, above! Photos courtesy of Greg Leddy.
